Requirements: • Experience with Java/J2EE and Groovy/Grails • Experience with Java Frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate • Experience using RDBMS such as MySQL • Experience with MVC architecture • Knowledge of JavaScript/AJAX • Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and how they are used • Passion for developing scalable web applications end-to-end • Desire to work in a fast-paced, startup environment and proven ability to rapidly learn new skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience The ideal candidate will have experience with the following: • Web 2.0 technologies such as JQuery • XML and RESTful web services • Tomcat or JBoss • Buiding high traffic transactional websites • Scrum or other agile methodologies • Test-driven development • Continuous integration technologies and techniques |
