Front-End Web Developer /DevOps Engineer - New York Area
Our developer will consider either a Front-end Web Developer OR DevOps Engineer depending on the skills set and experience of the candidate. We will also consider junior candidates with at least 2 years of experience. We are more concerned about the tools you have in your "toolbox".
This candidate will own the creation of a variety of critical front-end tools that streamline the data authoring for internal developers, facilitate efficient customer support service, enable business analytics processes, service dashboard and monitoring, automated QA and load testing of our highly scalable enterprise back-end.
Work closely with the Server team to create front-end tools that facilitate customer support, analytics, automated QA and load testing, service dashboards and monitoring.
Work closely with the Client team to create front-end tools that enable streamlined data authoring that is used by the game client.
Capable of working autonomously, self-managing and take ownership and pride of work.
Communicate effectively with the entire Team through written and oral means as appropriate.
Diligent about producing robust, effective and maintainable tools that are easy to use by a variety of non-technical personnel.

Experience interfacing with AWS services (EC2, S3, etc)
Experience building tools to support a 24/7 service with a large customer base
Experience working in Customer Support or Technical Support using support tools
Experience working as a Game Master for an online game service
Experience in Analytics, QA, DevOps and/or Ops
Experience creating automated QA and Load Testing processes
Experience with 3rd party Ops/DevOps software such as Puppet, Chef, Sensu, Nagios, Cacti, Jenkins and similar
